For $2,000, you can buy yourself some of the Best TVs on the market, packed with features so you don't have to compromise, whatever your intended use. You can find great TVs under this price range, from the popular 55-inch sizes to larger 80-inch ones. It all boils down to what you want and finding the Best TV under $2000 for your needs, it all depends on how you use it.

Below is our recommendation of what we consider the Best TV under $2000 of 2023.

Top picks

  1. LG OLED55C1PUB

The Best TV under $2,000 in the OLED category is this LG. It's a great premium model packed with features and offers excellent performance for dark room viewing. It is very well built and comes with a stylish center mount stand that looks good in any setting. It's available in the 48-inch model for under $2,000, but you can also get the 55-inch model in this price range.

  1. LG OLED55A1PUA

If you want a larger OLED display for the same price, check out the LG OLED65A1PUA. It is limited to a 60Hz panel. On the other hand, it offers the same near-infinite contrast ratio with perfect black uniformity. It is well-built, the 48, 55, and 65-inch models are available for under $2,000.

This TV displays a wide color gamut and has good gradient handling, but it's not too bright in HDR, so some highlights don't stand out. Also, while it's not bright in SDR, it has excellent reflection handling, so it works well in rooms with some ambient light.

  1. Samsung QN65QN90AAFXZA

This TV features an impressive new Mini LED backlight - delivering higher maximum brightness levels and allowing tighter local dimming control than traditional LED TVs. This is one of the brightest TVs we've tested, and it can easily overcome glare in almost any environment. Combined with excellent local dimming and a wide color gamut, the latest HDR content looks amazing.

  1. Samsung UN50AU8000FXZA

The AU8000 performs best in dark rooms thanks to the VA panel's high contrast ratio for deep blacks and excellent black uniformity, but as expected from a low-end model, there are no dimming features.

While it's not the brightest TV, it still has impressive reflection handling, so if you want to place it in a room with some ambient light that's fine. It shouldn't have any trouble upgrading lower-resolution content, like from a cable box or DVD, and if you want to stream your content, the built-in Tizen OS is great.

Buying Guide

Screen Resolution: UHD (4K) displays are the current industry standard, use this future-proof resolution for higher display quality. Make sure that the TV upscales the video to a good level. Even a Full HD TV is not a bad thing.

Refresh Rate: The higher the hertz, the smoother the image. Try to choose a TV with 120Hz or higher refresh rate/frequency. Don't worry about the refresh rate if you are using a QLED or OLED TV, as it will give good results even at 60Hz.

HDR: The presence of HDR will result in more realistic colors and better contrast. Try to use the latest HDR technology like HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Visual, etc.

Smart TV: It's not a big deal as most TVs are SmartTV nowadays, but make sure it comes with App store, Browser (for Web Surfing) with some Default Apps pre-installed. It allows you to connect and stream entertainment. Even if you don't buy a smart TV, don't worry, you can convert your TV into Smart TV just by connecting Dongles such as Amazon Fire TV Stick, Chrome Cast, Roku TV Stick.

HDMI and Other Ports: Make sure that the TV you buy has at least 3 HDMI and USB ports along with an Ethernet (RJ45) port, component input, composite input, RF input, Optical I/O port, and more.

Ignore contrast ratio: Although the contrast ratio determines the quality of the image, manufacturers still fool the numbers. (Generally, higher contrast ratio, greater image quality).

curved TVs: It won't provide great image quality, so don't use it.

Final Thoughts

Today television is not just an ordinary television. There are a lot of features and improvements made in them. The best thing is that you don't even have to pay too much to buy a TV. We hope that you can find the Best TV for under $2000.
